About the Role
ELMHS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairer 1 (WAE) to support the Maintenance Department at our hospital in Jackson, Louisiana. This role offers hands-on work across a variety of trades, including groundskeeping, carpentry, HVAC, and other facility support needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain hospital grounds and facilities to support safe, reliable operations
- Operate landscaping and grounds equipment
- Complete groundskeeping tasks and routine maintenance assignments
- Assist with facility upkeep across multiple trades as needed
Requirements
- Experience or training in maintenance, repair, or facilities work
- Ability to perform physically active tasks outdoors and indoors
- Comfort working with basic tools and equipment used in maintenance operations
- Reliability and willingness to learn across multiple trade areas
